Capturing metrics to describe clinical documentation completeness, timeliness, and accuracy allows leadership to proactively identify and manage gaps ahead of inspection. Yet, balancing qualitative vs. quantitative KPIs and building dashboards that correctly capture all necessary information are complex challenges.
