Bio:
Sarah White, MPH, is the Executive Director of the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard (MRCT Center). The MRCT Center is a research and policy center created to address the conduct, oversight, ethics, and regulatory environment of clinical trials, with a focus on developing economies. As the Executive Director of the MRCT Center, she is responsible for developing, defining, and implementing projects across the Center as well as overseeing all management aspects of the Center functions. Ms. White is directly involved in the MRCT Center’s global capacity-building efforts, including developing and implementing training in research ethics and the design and conduct of clinical trials. She also leads the MRCT Center’s programmatic work related to post-trial responsibilities of investigational products. Prior to the MRCT Center, Ms. White directed the Partners (now Mass General Brigham) Human Research Quality Improvement Program. She is an expert in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement of clinical research and has led the development and centralized support of clinical trials registration and disclosure programs at large US academic institutions. Ms. White is the co-chair of the national Clinical Trials Registration and Results Reporting Taskforce, a large consortium of academic medical centers, hospitals and universities that identify best practices, develop tools, and serve as a communication forum associated with the requirements for clinical trials registration and results reporting that affect US academic health centers. Ms. White received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and her MPH from Boston University School of Public Health.
