Bio:

Elena Medo has nearly four decades of experience advancing neonatal and pediatric care. She is the founder of multiple influential companies—including Medolac, Prolacta Bioscience, and White River Concepts—and has secured numerous patents and raised over $35 million in funding for innovations that support preterm infants.
 
As CEO and Co-Founder of Leonie Health PBC, founded in 2023 with her daughter Adrianne Weir, Elena is introducing a colostrum-inspired nutritional therapy designed to reduce deadly infections in neonatal intensive care units. The company’s mission is to preserve the powerful immune properties of human milk and provide a safer, more effective alternative to donor milk and infant formula.
