Meet the Speaker, Kevin Rooney, Ph.D.
Kevin Rooney, Ph.D., is the AI Transformation Lead at IQVIA. He is responsible for driving AI innovation strategy within the company, focusing on the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI technologies, specifically launching agentic AI across high-impact areas, to enhance IQVIA's service offerings and operational efficiency.
Dr. Rooney brings 20 years of expertise in advancing innovative technology across various industries, including a decade of leading AI initiatives at top CROs. He has been instrumental in elevating the value of AI across every progressive phase and every operational function within the CRO space. Before joining the CRO industry, he engineered highly-advanced architectural facades, developed groundbreaking research on visual perception and directed a wearable technology innovation group.
Rooney holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas and a Ph.D. from Kansas State University. Currently, his goal is to help complex industries thrive by innovating with AI to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
