V. Tyrone Lam is Chief Business Officer at GATC Health, a pioneering techbio company leveraging proprietary multiomics artificial intelligence to accelerate and de-risk drug discovery and development. Joining GATC Health in 2021, Lam oversees business growth as the company applies its validated Multiomics Advanced Technology™ to identify and validate therapeutic targets, design novel compounds in silico and predict safety, efficacy and off-target effects with high levels of accuracy.

Over his thirty-plus year career in technology, Lam has co-founded and held executive roles at several innovative health and technology organizations. At NTN Buzztime, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer for nearly a decade, leading operations and market strategy for this publicly traded company recognized as an early leader in multiplayer, multi-platform interactive entertainment. The company was the first NFL licensee for live interactive gaming and nominated for the first Academy Award for interactive television. Lam co-founded First Americans Wellness, a licensed medical clinic providing diabetes and metabolic disorder care for Native Americans on sovereign land through collaborative partnerships with tribal governments. As co-founder of OneHealth Solutions (also known as OneRecovery/OneHealth), he helped launch and operate the award-winning pioneer in online behavior change that leveraged real-time member support to improve health outcomes and reduce the cost of chronic care management. First HIPAA-secured, outcome based, peer-support network utilizing game mechanics for patient modification and treatment protocol adherence licensed by major health insurance companies.

Lam’s technology focus includes driving adoption of predictive analytics through his tenure at Predilytics, a machine learning platform that helped health plans target and improve member outcomes; the company was eventually acquired by Welltok. His experience spans business development, product strategy, market expansion, and cross-sector partnerships with leading science, health, and technology firms.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Virginia Tech. Lam regularly speaks at major industry conferences and has contributed published research and patents in healthcare and technology.
