Bio:
Oksana Petrushyna is a seasoned Senior Data Scientist with over 15 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, and advanced analytics. She holds a master’s degree in mathematics and statistics from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. Oksana has a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business insights and enhance operational efficiency, particularly in the life sciences sector.
In her current role at MAP Advanced Analytics, Oksana leads the Site Intelligence Initiative, where she collaborates with subject-matter experts and business stakeholders to tackle complex challenges in clinical trial operations. She excels in developing and executing advanced analytics, including predictive and prescriptive models, and has successfully built scalable data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies and real-world data.
Prior to her current position, Oksana served as a Senior Data Analyst/Product Owner at EPAM Systems, where she managed a team of BI developers and enhanced user experiences for analytics projects, resulting in increased customer satisfaction. Her earlier experience includes impactful roles at EPAM Systems Ukraine, where she developed predictive models and scorecards for customers that improved their operational efficiencies and saved significant costs.
Oksana is proficient in a variety of programming languages and tools, including Python, PySpark, SQL, and machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn and TensorFlow. She is passionate about leveraging data to solve real-world problems and is actively involved in the data science community through platforms like Kaggle.
