Bio:
Monique is a global corporate affairs leader with 30+ years of experience building leadership brands for large and small biotech companies.
At AnaptysBio, she leads the Corporate Affairs function, including IR, Communications and Patient Advocacy.
Before joining Anaptys, Monique led the global Communications function at AVROBIO, including Corporate and Medical/Scientific Communications, Internal Communications and Patient Advocacy Engagement.
She was previously vice president, Corporate Communications at Spark Therapeutics, where she was responsible for internal and external communications, and led the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts. While at Spark, she led the communications efforts for the regulatory approval and launch of the first gene therapy for a genetic disease in the U.S.
Previously, Monique led the U.S. Public Affairs group for Biogen and worked in U.S. and global leadership positions at Ogilvy PR and MSLGroup.
Monique serves on the IR Roundtable of the Ticket to Biotech (T2B) group. A frequent speaker at conferences, she also often serves as a guest lecturer in communications classes. Previously, she has served on the Boston and New England Boards of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, as well as on the Board of Directors for Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast. She has also served as a board member for Harvard Business School’s The Boardroom program, working with HBS MBA candidates to simulate leadership challenges faced by executives.
She has a BA from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
