Lauren Merrill

Bio:

Lauren Merrill serves as the Director of TMF and R&D Records Management at Biogen, where she oversees all aspects of TMF operations, encompassing people, process, and technology. With nearly 20-years working in the pharma industry, her expertise includes leading TMF system implementations, managing data migrations, driving process improvements, providing quality oversight, and facilitating cross-functional collaborations with CROs and system vendors.  Lauren is the organization’s named archivist and serves as the primary points of contact for TMF audits and inspections. 
In her previous positions, Lauren established best practices for record transfers during asset integration and divestitures and has served as the business system lead for various platforms supporting clinical records and regulatory information management.  She holds an M.S. in Library and Information Sciences with a focus on Archival Management.
