Kym White

Bio:

Kym White is SVP and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Generate:Biomedicines, a company focused on the application of AI to drug discovery founded by Flagship Pioneering. She brings deep experience in corporate affairs and healthcare communications, having held leadership roles at companies spanning the healthcare sector and global communications agencies.  

Before joining Generate, she spent three years within Alphabet, Google’s parent company as a senior advisor to Verily and Isomorphic Labs, two of Alphabet’s healthcare “bets” focused on precision health and the application of AI to drug design. Previously, Kym was Chief Communications Officer (CCO) for a number of public companies including CVS Health, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Baxter. An agency veteran, Kym was the Global Sector Chair for Health at Edelman, and held the same role at Ogilvy PR earlier in her career. She has been named a leading healthcare influencer by PR Week and Medical Marketing & Media many times over the years and has served as a judge in many industry award competitions, including the Cannes Health Lions.

Kym is a member of the board of directors of Public Policy Holding Company (LON: PPHC), a group of bipartisan, premier advisory firms specializing in government affairs, and the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). She is a graduate of Northwestern University.
