Kate Walsh is a Managing Director at HSBC, based in Boston, where she leads Biopharma Relationship Management for Innovation Banking, focused on the Biopharma, Tools & Diagnostics sector. She leads a team providing commercial banking services and debt-financing solutions to biopharma companies across the lifecycle—from early-stage, venture-backed innovators to late-stage public companies. Prior to HSBC, Kate was a Market Manager at Silicon Valley Bank and served as Head of Biotech Relationship Management, advising a wide range of technology and life sciences clients during her time there. Kate is a member of the Board of Advisors for Life Science Cares and holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross.
