George Shuster

Bio:

George Shuster is chair of the firm's Debt Finance Group and a member of the firm's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Group.

In his debt finance practice, Mr. Shuster represents borrowers, lenders, and other investors in a broad range of transactions, from investment-grade credit facilities to structured loans and specialty finance products. Mr. Shuster has particular experience in the Life Sciences sector, assisting clients with credit facilities, notes financings, and other non-dilutive financing strategies including revenue and royalty monetization transactions. Recent monetization transactions led by Mr. Shuster have produced billions of dollars in proceeds, allowing Life Sciences companies to reinvest in critical developing and commercialized technologies and increasing value for shareholders.

Mr. Shuster also has specific experience in the Financial Services and Securities sectors, working with clients on specialized financing arrangements in those areas. Mr. Shuster also assists clients with Uniform Commercial Code matters arising in their contracts, banking and securities relationships, and secured transactions.
