Etienne Hinton

Bio:

Etienne Hinton is currently a TMF Systems Specialist at Duke Clinical Research Institute. Etienne has been in clinical research for over 17 years. He has been working at the DCRI since 2014, while working at Duke, he has been a leader in getting DCRI technologically advanced. Etienne is the subject matter expert on all of the TMF’s used at Duke: SharePoint eTMF, PhlexTMF, and the Shared Drive using the reference model as a guide. During this time, he has worked with multiple sponsors, CRO’s, and Internal study teams on creating eTMF work instructions and essential trainings that are used by the entire Duke organization. Duke has a unique position of being the world’s largest ARO, that allows them the ability to be 3 different parts of a trial: The Sponsor, the CRO and/or a Site. This allows Etienne to wear many different hats in the organization. He loves the work that he does, but really enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
