Bio:

Eleanor was appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications for BeOne Medicines (formerly BeiGene) in May 2025. Previously she was at Sanofi, building and leading global communications teams in both Specialty Care and Vaccines, including leading market-shaping activities and global launches of Beyfortus, Dupixent, Sarclisa, Altuviiio, and Qfitlia. Prior to this, she built and led multiple global corporate affairs teams at AstraZeneca, including global oncology (Imfinzi, Imjudo, Enhertu, Calquence, Tagrisso, Lynparza); US oncology; and global oncology R&D. 

Eleanor has been a global pharmaceutical leader for more than 20 years. She’s passionate about science, strategy, and performance, and sees communications as a superpower to connect, convey, and influence. She began her career on the agency side, where she worked for many global biopharmaceutical companies, across diverse disease areas, including oncology, immunology and vaccines, rare diseases, inflammation, HIV, and neuroscience. 

A British and Canadian national, Eleanor obtained a BSc in Immunology from the University of Glasgow, UK, and a PhD in molecular oncology from the University of Edinburgh, UK, before pursuing post-doctoral studies in neuroscience at McGill University in Montréal, Canada.
