Bio:
Daniele Piergentili was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of F.I.S in May 2024. He has extensive experience in leading global organizations in the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Care industry and was previously President of Croda, a leader in Life Sciences and Personal Care. Daniele played an instrumental role in the definition of the Croda Pharma strategy and execution and actively supported the structural shift of the company portfolio towards sustainable ingredients. Daniele previously spent 21 years at BASF where he held several roles in the Pharma and Consumer Care Divisions, including Business Head of the CDMO unit and Global Head of R&D and Marketing for the Pharma Division. Daniele has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a specialization in Biotechnology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
