Bio:
Dr. Campion joined Regulus in July 2020 as Vice President, Business Development. During his time at Regulus, Dr. Campion led a number of strategic initiatives helping to build the company’s growth, leading to its acquisition by Novartis in 2025.
Dr. Campion’s career includes roles as Senior Director, Corporate Development & Strategy at Dermira Inc., VP, Business Development at Bird Rock Bio Inc. and Director, Corporate Development at Ora Inc.
While at Dermira Dr. Campion led technology in-licensing activities to expand Dermira’s product and technology portfolio. He was instrumental in securing a multi-target in-licensing partnership with Takeda and the transformative in-licensing of global rights for Lebrikizumab from Roche. Dermira was acquired by Eli Lilly in January of 2020.
Dr. Campion received his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from the University of California, San Diego and was a Post-doctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley.
